MODSTER Desert Rookie - For the ideal entry into the 1:18 class!
Off to the desert with the adventure version of the successful MODSTER Rookie! Get ready for pure four-wheel driving fun on-road as well as off-road!
The body is built as a stable cage and the elaborate steering damper protects the steering servo from violent shocks. In addition, there is a servo saver.
The strong bumpers protect the front as well as the rear, and the front one also has 2 LED headlights.
The chassis is made of resilient and sturdy plastic. The body is already adapted to it with printed design. The shock absorber has a large spring travel and the receiver and controller form a control unit.
Motor: The powerful 390 motor was additionally equipped with an aluminum heat sink. This guarantees good heat dissipation. Motor and main gear are completely encapsulated and therefore dirt, stones or dust can not harm the drive.
Tires: The cool lugged tires offer particularly good grip on any surface and the full-size spare wheel at the rear further enhances the adventure look of this 1:18 model. The MODSTER Rookie has a 4WD drivetrain with independent suspension.
Important info about the controller:
The MODSTER Rookie and MODSTER Desert Rookie models no longer have a built-in switch on the controller. The car is switched on or off by plugging or unplugging the drive battery. To save resources and thus protect the environment, the decision was made to use up the already produced controller housings with the switch cutout. The missing switch itself contributes to the increased operational safety, because the plugged power connection offers a better contact safety under all situations. The operating instructions are updated regularly and are available for download at the corresponding article in the online store.
