MODSTER MDX Spitfire MK II - The small one for huge flying fun!
The MDX Spitfire MK II is ideal as a first warbird model for advanced beginners with basic aileron flying experience. However, its beautiful flight pattern and maneuverability make it a lot of fun for the expert as well.
Flight time is 7-15 minutes, depending on how often and long full throttle is applied. The standard 2.4GHz remote control is supplied in Mode 2 - version only, i.e. the throttle is to be controlled on the left lever.
Aerobatics:
The Spitfire MK II is also capable of performing basic aerobatic maneuvers such as loops or rolls at the touch of a button, thanks to the Airobatic switch on the remote control. A 6-axis gyro system is permanently installed and stabilizes the flight attitude during all maneuvers. It is switchable in three levels (beginner, advanced, expert).
This is a high quality model made of sturdy EPP plastic. The model is already fully assembled out of the box and lavishly painted. Only the landing gear needs to be attached in a few easy steps. Thanks to a prop saver, the risk for damage to the propeller decreases.
History:
The Supermarine Spitfire was the main opponent of the German BF 109 in the Battle of Britain of World War 2. Nearly 20,000 of the Spitfire were produced by the end of 1945.
